Frequently Asked Questions
About Kunda Drops
How do I use Kunda Drops?
- It turns out we’ve had to hold some hands on the whole suppository insertion thing. Soooo if you have a vagina and an anus you’ve got two options. If you’re just working with an anus the Drop will be taking the back door. We realize this is not the most conventional way to use cannabis, but let’s be honest of all the things that have come in or out of your pussy or bussy… is this really the weirdest thing?
- Drops are best used right out of the fridge so they’re cold enough to hold their shape during insertion. Wash your hands! Apply a little bit of your favorite lube or organic oil at the tip of the Drop and find a comfortable position. Some people like to stand up with one leg hiked up, some people prefer to lie down on their backs or sides. Find a position you feel most relaxed in. Gently place the tip of the Drop at the opening of your choice. Use your longest finger to slide and glide the Drop as far up and into your chosen hole. Think of this step as making a little self-care deposit.
- You want to give the Drop time to absorb into your body so kick back and relax for at least 30 minutes to let it do it’s thing. It’s great if you can use a Drop before bed, but if you need to be up and about after insertion you might want to wear a panty liner to protect your undies.

Are Blossom Drops Right for Me?
Our Blossom formula includes CBD, CBG and hyaluronic acid—ingredients great at promoting relaxation and hydration. Blossom Drops are great for any person or pelvis looking to address discomfort, tension or dry tissues… or to increase access to pleasure and just chill. A ramped up nervous system would happily take a little break with Blossom.
A few examples of people who love Blossom are those experiencing:
- Vaginal, rectal, perineal, or penis discomfort especially when associated with chronic pelvic floor muscle tension (hypertonic pelvic floors)
- Challenging menstrual cycles (great during ovulation and bleeding times)
- Back or hip or even jaw, neck, or throat tension
- Long-term birth control pill use (often causes atrophy and dryness in vaginal/vulvar tissues)
- Constipation or difficulty peeing/pooping
- Peri-menopause
- Discomfort with vaginal or anal intercourse
Are Nourish Drops Right for Me?
Our Nourish Drop formula is for the person or pelvis looking for a non CBD/CBG option for promoting hydration and healing. Ingredients Vitamin E and hyaluronic acid work wonders in moisturizing and supporting healing tissues. Postpartum and/or breastfeeding mamas and the peri/post menopausal crowd loves Nourish Drops, because let’s face it, hormonally based vaginal dryness is a real thing! Both of these seasons of life are caused by hormonal shifts and low levels of estrogen which can lead to vaginal tissue dryness, thinning and irritation. Adding lubricant to sexy time does a great job at decreasing friction, but the vaginal tissues still need hydration and extra support. Also… vaginas tear sometimes during birth! The vitamin E in Nourish works great to soften perineal or internal vaginal scars from birth and/or pelvic surgeries.

What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol or (the non-psychoactive cannabinoid molecule in the cannabis plant). It is highly prevalent in the cannabis plant and its therapeutic benefits are abundant. Research is catching up to anecdotal experience, but is quickly gaining clout in its possibilities to work as an analgesic (relieving pain), antispasmodic (relieving muscle spasm), anti-inflammatory (reducing inflammation), anxiolytic (reducing anxiety), and antiemetic (relieving vomiting). So anyone with some or all of these feels could be a candidate to love Blossom.
We’ve chosen high doses of 250 mg and up for our products to ensure a therapeutic benefit since we don’t have any THC in our products (THC can amplify the benefits requiring a lower dose).
What is CBG?
CBG is short for cannabigerol, a minor cannabinoid. It’s less prevalent in most cannabis plants, but we’ve chosen to include it for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties.
Why Would I Put CBD and CBG Down There?
We have a whole system living inside us designed to interact with cannabinoids because they are a molecule our body makes on its own! Our endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a system naturally occurring in our bodies to help us regulate almost every other system (think digestion to immune nervous systems). CBD and CBG actually help us use our own cannabinoids better. As part of the ECS we have cannabinoid receptors located all throughout our bodies including our brains and spinal cords (CB1 receptors), the immune system, peripheral nervous system (think nerves that let us feel and move), and in major organs (CB2 receptors) including the reproductive organs. There’s a particularly high concentration of CB2 receptors in the muscle and lining of the uterus so using a Drop has a localized effect in addition to being absorbed into your bloodstream.
*Fun fact! Queen Victoria used a cannabis tincture to treat her period pain in the 1800s! This is not new medicine, we’re just happy to bring it to you in a new form!
Why hyaluronic acid down there?
You may be more familiar with hyaluronic acid in your facial moisturizers or skin care routine, but hyaluronic acid also works excellently as a Drop. Hyaluronic acid is a safe and effective way of boosting hydration in tissues without the use of hormones, in fact it’s a naturally occurring compound in your body responsible for keeping things wet and slippery. Vaginal pain, anal fissures, pain with intercourse, complaints of dryness down there can all be due to dehydrated, atrophied, and/or thinning tissue. Hyaluronic acid helps to lock in moisture and create happy, healing, and hydrated tissue. Some studies have shown hyaluronic acid to be equally as effective as a topical estrogen cream in treating vaginal dryness/ atrophy.
Will I get high?
No. Our products are THC free, eliminating any concern you might have about the psychoactive effects of using cannabis to support your health. CBD is a non-intoxicant, meaning it won’t get you high. It doesn’t bind directly to the cannabinoid receptors in the brain, instead, CBD signals the endocannabinoid system (ECS) to maintain more of its endogenous cannabinoids, helping the body maintain homeostasis (a state of balance between vital bodily functions). CBD can promote relaxation, reduce physical discomfort, improve attention and focus, promote neuroprotection, enhance cartilage and joint health, and provide a general sense of balance.

Nursing / Pregnant safe?
The truth is we don’t know enough about CBD/CBG in pregnancy or breastfeeding because the research hasn’t been done. To be safe we’d opt for Nourish in these seasons where growing little people are to be considered. Our Nourish Drop was designed with postpartum and breastfeeding mamas in mind to focus on hydration.
How do suppositories work?
Our Drops (or suppositories) work through direct absorption into the body (either via the walls of vagina or the rectum) without having to pass through the digestive tract. The warmth of your body will melt the Drop which will allow for your body to absorb the active ingredients.
There is a local effect on the pelvic tissues, benefitting from the ingredients promoting hydration (cocoa butter, hyaluronic acid, and Vit E). There is also a local effect of the CBD and CBG as there are many cannaboid receptors in the pelvic region (particularly the uterus).
Safe to use with other medications?
It is always recommended to check with your healthcare practitioner when adding any products, herbs, supplements, or medications to your mix and routine, Kunda included!
